I have recovered latents from the interior of latex gloves with CA fuming and ardrox, but there is a technique described in the March/April 2007 JFI concerning using wetwop, I saw the author do this technique and it works nicely.

Actually, with the proper procedure there are documented successes of 77% at retriving comparable latens from latex gloves.

Yes, latent prints have been developed on latex gloves in many cases. Like a plastic bag or latex balloon, it is a nonporous surface on which identifiable latent prints might be present.

If your local police have the time/resources to process gloves from your break-in, it would be a matter of chance as to whether or not identifiable latent finger or palm prints would be present... even if they pulled out all stops and treated the case like a murder.

Please read the FAQ's here.

During a break in and substantial loss one of the crtiminals left behind latex gloves used during the burgulary. Can they be useful for identification?
