I'm sure you probally have located an investigator by now but there are several things that can be done with the bottle. A DNA swabbing could be taken from the mouth of the bottle. Then it shoud be "superglued" to preserve the prints. They then should dust it and apply microsil to lift the print. The latter is least expensive, DNa the highest and least practical for the public sector. There are other chemical processes, but the procedure I mentioned would be my choice for recovery of prints from your bottle. Hope this helps. | ||

I had a car accident on 10/30/2004 in Brooklyn, NY. A few minutes later, the same assholes threw a bottle of beer, Corona, into my face from a speeding by SUV. Luckily they missed. NYPD refused to take the pieces of the bottle for identification. I hired a private investigator to try lift the prints off bottle but he said chances ares slim. Can somebody recommend an expert in New York city? I personally collected all pieces into separate plastic bags. The upper part of the bottle is preserved.
