In the past 72 hours this Forum crashed. It's just one of those things, for which I am thankful it doesn't happen more often. The good news is that I have restored all prior messages and keyword searching Forum text or subject lines will find the data you seek. The bad news is that the dates (pre-March 24, 2002) messages were posted are no longer indexed. Until sufficient time passes, searching by date (30, 60, 90 days, etc.) won't mean much. Pre-March 24, 2002 "message author" searching is also not available. Thanks for your patience while I work to control the web gremlins. --Ed German P.S. For those of you who are fingerprint experts (especially those who were trained by Benjamin Goodrick in the '60's and '70's at the FBI), here's a question for your aging gray matter: "What is the faintest pattern type in the modified Henry system of classification?" E-mail me your answer and I'll respond with a note as to whether or not you are correct. For those who trained under Mr. Goodrick (like me), this should be a no-brainer (please don't post any answers on the Forum). For everyone else, the answer will make you moan. I'll post the answer here in a week or so. The Answer: The loop is the faintest pattern, because it passes out or tends to pass out... |
