Years ago in contamination detection I showed that Kr85 adsorption and subsequent autoradiography could be used to detect organic contamination, such as fingerprints or "abrasive transfer" from a poly bag to a clean surface. I wonder if this has been applied to forensic science? Kr85 is used commercially for leak detection on hermetically sealed components. donmattox@mpinm.com
