The international organizations ( I don't know which one, probably WHO ) should consider any other options aswell, such as eye scanning to facilitate those people who are suffering with such disorder and should make it an international standard to have at least one eye scanning machine at the immigration counter at the airport or any other service which requires fingerprint. I think we all who have such disorder should raise there voices on the international forums for them to do something for us... Thanks Issue. |

It may be that you have little or no ridge detail left on your fingers. This can happen over time for various reasons. Depending on the type of background search that is required, they may have to only do a name search if they can't search by fingerprints. A single scar will not cause your fingerprints to be "unreadable." It may alter the appearance of that print, but should not be the result of a rejection of a submitted set of fignerprints. |

I'm applying for a teaching job and had my fingerprints done twice. Once- digitally & second done ink. Both times they said prints were unreadable. What do I do now? Could a scar cause this? I sliced a part of one of my fingers years ago & there is a scar across the print area. |
