Yes james you are right and it is a difficult question and it is not easy to give answer because how can you guess that which fingerprints were placed before and after.

This may be a confusing question but what I want to know is this:
Suppose you start with a blank piece of paper. It is touched by the subject. Then you print a letter on that paper using an ink jet printer. The subject touches the paper again.

Would it be possile to tell which fingerprints were placed there before the printing took place? Would it be possible to tell which fingerprints wwre made after the printing? Would the prnting effect the fingerprints at all?
