Other forensic evidence potentially present includes DNA, fibers, tool marks, indented or obliterated printing/writing, footwear or fabric impressions, and many other situations (e.g., severed finger attached to the wood) previously encountered by crime laboratories.

what forensic evidence can be obtained from apiece of wood, other than fingerprints..the piece of wood was alledgedly used to break a front door in...so it was supposedly handled with quite some force?
