Yes, a person can wipe off another person's prints. You must keep in mind that a person can handle an object without leaving their prints on the object. For instance if you were to wash your hands you may not leave a print on an object because your hands are clean (no oil to leave behind). Therefore if you don't find someones print on an object it does not mean they did not touch it. |

I am curious as to what circumstances would see a knife that has lain in rain and wet grass for a night only give one clear (palm) print when that knife had to of been handled by one other person (at least) before the individual whose print has appeared on the knife handled it? Can handling by one person obliterate the prints of the person who held the knife imediately before him? This is a fascinating science! |
