Slim, but their is a chance. Sometimes impressions are etched in the metal of the ammo casings and sometimes there are contaminated impressions (in sebaceous contaminate, etc.) that will survive immersion in water or sewage.

26 9x19 luger ammunition found submerged in sewage for unknown time what are chances of recovering fingerprints?
