There is limited information published on this topic, especially for FP lifting tape. You may have do considerable research yourself, including contacting manufacturers about their current formulas.

One reference which includes some detailed chemical information for clear tape adhesive is "New types of adhesive strips and protection of microscopic evidence," E.P. MARTIN, ID News Vol. 17, No. 2, pages 3-7.

I would appreciate it if someone could inform me of the type/makeup of the glue used on the black/white plastic fingerprint lifting cards used at crime scenes. Thank you very much.
