Hello all!
I am beginning my Forensic Investigation course at my university and we are required to begin research. I would like to begin a project to determine effective/more effective means of recovered prints from such objects. In order to do this, I need some ideas for safe ways to form soot on materials like glasses, metals, etc. I also would appreciate some ideas on some unexplored methods for recovery. I've seen some articles using fluorescence or SPR, and I've read that powders aren't very effective, but I was wondering if there are any unexplored areas that I should focus in on. Any and all help/suggestions are appreciated, and thank you all in advance!
