I suspect that the “Family Fingerprint Project” link you mentioned is on the Latent Print Examination Forum posting here. I checked the link and it is still working properly. It is a pdf (Adobe Acrobat) file. Some versions of Internet Explorer and some plug-in helper and/or security settings have problems with PDF files. This is an error which may be fixed in a future version of Internet Explorer. Until then, the easiest fix is to "right-click" on the file you want to download (such as the "Family Fingerprint Project" file), save the file to your desktop or another location, then open the file outside of Internet Explorer. If you are brave and want to try to reconfigure your web browser, here is a page hosted by Adobe Acrobat addressing problems such as yours. | ||

I tried to click on the link about a " Family Fingerprint Project" and it doesnt work. I am trying to research fingerprints within my large family for my 9th grade science project. Do you have any other suggestions where I can look for more information? Thank you Anastasia Gian |
