I am in the process of writing-up a PhD dealing with 3,000 year old fingerprints in clay from Mesopotamia. In the process of this study, I have estblished an AFIS database for ancient fingerprints. Has any one out there been asked by a museum or other academic organization to look at any ancient prints. If so, can you pass on the details.
