It just seemed to me that SCRO are comparing print A with Shirley Mckie's print, whereas everyone else is comparing photos of photos of print A or even photos of print B taken from the door frame at the court.
All of that doubt could be removed by reverting to exactly what SCRO compared, namely their original fingerprint lift rather than these substitutes. I wondered why that had not been done. I am now told that SCRO will not release the original print, although your message indicates that the London based examiner based his view on the original print, rather than those on the website. That still has me confused.
I'm still not clear who if anyone has asked SCRO to release the print, and what explanation they have offered for not doing so. Are there any legal reasons that prevent them from releasing it?
