I use the system for documenting my initial analysis and annotating marks, writing notes regarding potential problem areas and any other information that I may wish to record. I also use it for documenting annotation during comparison and recording results. It is a very useful tool particularly if you are required to give evidence in court as it allows you to demonstrate what your findings were, when you undertook the analysis and comparisons and what your final results were with your justifications for your findings. If you are disputing an identification is can be used as a tool to demonstrate where you find differences, unexplainable or otherwise. | ||
