I am a latent fingerprint examiner, and we are having a bit of a debate in my office. Some of us were trained that 3rd level detail includes creases; while others consider creases to be occaisional features, not included in 3rd level detail. What is the general practice regarding creases in other law enforcement agencies? Your help would be greatly appreciated.
