Hi. I have read that sometimes when using ESDA on paper, fingerprints can be detected. Does anyone know how ESDA detects fingerprints? I'm assuming it must be because of the very very very lightly indented fingerprint impression that the ESDA is detecting? Therefore, when chemical treatments are applied to the paper, the chemicals will "bring out" different fingermarks compared to ESDA? Thank you!
