I am looking for first hand knowledge about the work of Dr. John Bond, of Northampshire, England, relating to the processing of spent cartridge cases. Dr Bond has apparently sold or given the patent rights to this technology to Consolite Forensics. They in turn are producing an instrument called the CERA (see above), which I am told is not ready for sale. I have read some of Bond's articles but each appears to be void of a success rate.
What is the success rate of this technolgy?
Has Bond ever developed a latent print of value on a spent shell casing from case work?
Has any agency validated this instrument?
