The list is fairly long and can be divided into two areas. I could come up with 20-30 statistical studies (if you're looking for probabilities) but the more solid research is done by William Babler. His research isn't a statistical likelihood but rather determining how ridges are formed to show why two fingerprints cannot be formed the same. The research he did confirmed the work of many others over the past 100 years.

CAN ANYBODY PLEASE ASSIST.I WAS ASKED BY A MAGISTRATE (OUT OF COURT)ABOUT ANY RECENT STUDIES DONE ON THE POSSIBILITY OF 2 FINGERPRINTS BEING THE SAME. ALL I COULD FIND WAS STUDIES BY BALTHAZARD AND SEYMOUR AS THE LATEST
