Hello, I am a Latent Print Examiner with SDPD and an instructor at Grossmont College, where I teach Advanced Fingerprint Identification. During each semester I require my students to do some research in the area of fingerprint processing or comparison. While I have had some very good projects over the years, (some featured at the IAI's student poster presentations) I am quickly running out of original ideas to help steer my students in the right direction. And frankly, I am getting tired of the same few projects year after year So, I thought I would turn to other experts for any ideas that you have had about processing and or any items from crime scenes that you found difficult to process. Onin.com is one of the resources that I have my students use for ideas, so if you would please post your suggestions here, I would appreciate it. Or if you don't feel comfortable posting them on a public website, you could email me at Tom.Washington@gcccd.edu Thank you, my students and I appreciate the help, Tom Washington |
