As was said in another thread, (and this is my opinion,yes)Do not use powder if you can help it.

You do not describe the condition of the can and so it would not necessarily be fair to say"avoid powder!"

Is it not possible to use uv stain after the superglue fuming?

I would recommend powdering after SG Fuming. Any powdering prior to fuming could "block" the CA from adhereing to the can's surface.

Will dusting a drinks can before putting in to superglue fuming interfere with the results you get?
Should powdering be done after the superglueing?
