Does anyone have any development technique/analysis that works for determining if a fingerprint was deposited on a piece of paper before or after the deposition of ink/writing/typing? I have tried just about everything and I cannot find anything that works. The fingerprint seems to be coming up through the ink in every case. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have tried iodine, ninhydrin, DFO, magnetic powder.
