Hi Steve,

I realise this may be quite late in the piece but if you are still interested in Locard then have a dig around for the article Dust and its Analysis, Police Jounral Vol1 1928 pages 177-192. This is the actual experiment Locard used to formulate his exchange principles. Cheers. les

Journal of Forensic Identification, Vol 45, Number 2, 1995 - pages 136-163 An editorial by Christophe Champod "Edmond Locard - Numerical Standards & Probable Identification"...may point you in the right direction.

There has been discussion in my office regarding Locard's tripartite rule, and how he is often used as a reference in fingerprint-related materials.

We have been unable to find a copy Locard's research and conclusions anywhere. We would prefer to find them in English, but anything would be a start.

We've searched the IAI's Publication Archive CD and through various internet search engines with nothing more than a reference to his works.

Any help is appreciated.
