Chris Gentry's overall answer below is correct, but the topic is more complicated than a simple yes or no.
The answer is yes insofar as Level 1 detail (pattern and overall ridge flow), and no regarding Level 2 and Level 3 ridge detail.
The question is already addressed in the FAQs under the following topic:
"Are fingerprints inherited... are they more similar between family members than between strangers?"

No. Everybody, including identical twins have completely different prints. Fingerprints are more valuable than DNA because identical twins have the same DNA but different fingerprints.
