I just received a phone call from David’s wife Linda telling me that he was just in a serious accident on his motorcycle. As you probably all know, David is an avid motorcycle rider and he was on a “ride” with several friends in Oregon when he lost control of the bike and crashed. Linda says that David will be all right with time but that he had major surgery after sustaining internal injuries to his mid-section and some trauma to his head but that he was wearing an excellent helmet. She stressed that he will be well but that he will be laid up for some time recovering.

I don’t know where in Oregon he is but he will be in the hospital for a little while longer before heading back home to B.C. Sorry to not have more solid information as I felt comfortable just listening rather than asking more questions. Keep him in your thoughts and prayers as he recovers.
