I am writing a children's book targeting ages 9-11 in which my heroine learns about fingerprinting from her (Detective) Uncle and she later uses this knowledge to solve a neighborhood crime. I would like to read/understand the process of dusting for and/or lifting prints. Can you point me in the right direction?
