Hello, my wife is trying to get an FBI certificate, that she did not commit any criminal offence, for immigration purposes. She got her fingerprints taken by a commercial establishment (using the ink method) and shortly afterwards by the local police department (using the laser scanner). We sent them to the FBI and they were rejected as unreadable/unusable. She went then to local FBI office where FBI fingerprint specialist took another set of her fingerprints. We sent them back to the FBI Clarksburg lab and again they were rejected. She works for the US government and she was fingerprinted by them before she started working for them. Would you have any suggestion of what to do? It would be greatly appreciated. Dennis Zezula | ||

According to the person taking the fingerprint,the fingerprints showed some cuts which were barely visible to the naked eye and hence could not be used. The recommendation was that the fingerprinting be done again after 10 days. What after 10 days if those cuts are still present, what then ? What if the cuts are a permanent part of the hand ? |
