The procedure is very reliable, especially since the procedure includes submitting your fingerprints to be searched through the system. Directions are at www.fbi.gov/hq/cjisd/fprequest.htm

good morning everybody,
i have a question, does anybody knows how reliable is the request for FBI identification record?if there is no record according to them ( No arrest record stamp on the back of the fingerprint card) is no way any other agency, federal or not , will have a hit against FBI CJIS files. true or false?
this request is done under FOIA i believe.
