You said "one of the prints came out negative"... does this mean that others came out positive? Even if not, just because a fingerprint is absent doesn't mean the surface wasn't touched. I could walk through your home and handle things without leaving identifiable prints. The prosecutor may be asking for impressions from the tips of the suspects fingers to be compared with the crime scene print that was not identified. My 15 yr old daughter was a victim of a sex crime. One of the perpetrator's finger print came out negative. Will this be hard to prove that he was there on the crime scene when we go to trial ?. And also, according to the State Attorney's office they will be given a Finger Tip Print. What is the difeerence between the two & why do you think the prosecutor is asking for this test to be done ?. |
