Maybe yes, maybe no... it depends on factors such as whether you apply any binning filters based on ridge flow, pattern classification, ridge counts, finger position (only right thumbs), etc.

Hi,

Suppose, if there is databse with 1,000,000 fingerprints and I need make identification of one fingerprint against this database (i.e. I have one fingerprint and I need chceck this database whether my fingerprint will match with some fingerprint in database).
Will need I check database linear (every fingerprint in database) or is some better algorithm e.g. of logarthmic speed ?
