The IAI's (http://www.theiai.org/) "Journal of Forensic Identification" (which is also archived and available on CDs) and The Fingerprint Society´s (http://www.fpsociety.org.uk/) "Fingerprint Whorld" are the two most widely read journals worldwide among experts working with friction ridge identification (including third level detail such as pores and ridge shape).

Does any one know of reputable information on ridgeology & poroscopy in journal form?

I wrote a list that is posted on Kasey Wertheim's site: clpex.com, it's listed under 'fingerprint terminology'. It might be a little hard for a court reporter to print up but I do have a version that is more print friendly. If anyone is interested in it, just email me and I'll send it to you.

Is there a site on line where a court reporter or other interested party can obtain a list of terms, definitions and procedures used in fingerprint identification?
